On Sunday, in beautiful sunny weather, our top cross-country runners from Years 5-8 took part in the National Prep School Cross Country Championships held at Malvern College.
All pupils ran superbly, and did themselves and the School proud.
The U13 girls team came 17th overall and the individual positions were:
Evie L - 51st
Evie H - 73rd
Amelia H - 75th
Harriet B - 82nd
The U13 boys were 20th overall with the following individual positions:
Monty Y - 36th
Ben T - 66th
Theo S - 120th
Freddie H - 133rd
The U11 girls came 17th overall with the following individual positions:
Flo R - 57th
Maisie B - 66th
Matilda W - 87th
Harper C - 114th
Our best results of the day came from the U11 boys. Out of 208 runners in their race, Lucas Y came an excellent 8th position, Rory T an impressive 10th and Jenson W 47th. Oliver C also took part but sadly pulled up injured. This placed our U11 boys fourth in the country from the forty-two Prep schools there which is a fantastic achievement.
Well done to everyone who took part.
